RAMSEY ARE PROMOTED!!!

Ramsey have been promoted from South Lancs/Cheshire Division 3 following a resounding victory away at Ellesmere Port on Saturday.

Needing just a point to claim 2nd place in the table and promotion, Ramsey were forced to battle hard in the first half. The scores were tied 3-3 until just before the break when Ben Harding scored and Fintan Cummings converted to make it 10-3 to Ramsey at half time.

The first score after the break was always going to be important and when it cma eot Ramsey, Ellesmere Port's resolved faded and the Reds ran away 43-3 winners!

A huge congratulations to Director of Rugby Gareth Hinge and his fantastic squad lead by Captain Aneurin Pritchard this season. A special mention to Dave Hinks and Daryn Thompson who have announced they are retiring and good luck to all for next season!!
