Welcome to Ramsey Rugby Union Football Club

Ramsey is a small town on the East Coast of the wonderful Isle of Man. Ramsey RUFC was formed in the late 1970s by a group of old boys from the local comprehensive school, Ramsey Grammar.

The club was admitted to the RFU in December 1981 and competed locally in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield and the Dorchester Maritime Manx Cup until 2008 when they were admitted to South Lancashire/Cheshire Division 4.

In 2003 the club ended their search for a permenant home with the construction of their Club House at their Mooragh Park pitch in Ramsey.

Over the last 25 years the club has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a wealth of young talented players as well as many experienced heads.

We see ourselves as a club with a very big, very bright future.
