About Us

Ramsey is a small town on the East Coast of the wonderful Isle of Man. Ramsey RUFC was formed in the late 1970s by a group of old boys from the local comprehensive school, Ramsey Grammar.

The club was admitted to the RFU in December 1981 and competes locally in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield, the Dorchester Maritime Manx Cup and the Cheshire Cup.

In 2003 we finally ended our search for a permenant home with the construction of our Club House at our pitch at The Mooragh Park in Ramsey.

Over the last 25 years the club has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a wealth of young talented players as well as many experienced heads.

We see ourselves as a club with a very big, very bright future.
