Welcome to Ramsey Rugby Union Football Club

Ramsey is a small town on the East Coast of the wonderful Isle of Man. Ramsey RUFC was formed in the late 1970s by a group of old boys from the local comprehensive school, Ramsey Grammar.

The club was admitted to the RFU in December 1981 and competed locally in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield and the Dorchester Maritime Manx Cup until 2008 when they were admitted to the South Lancashire/Cheshire Leagues.

In 2003 the club ended their search for a permenant home with the construction of their club house at their Mooragh Park pitch in Ramsey.

The club now operates two teams with the Firsts playing in the South Lancs/Cheshire Division 3 and the Seconds playing in the Manx Shield. Both sides also feature in the Isle of Mans premier event, the Manx Cup

With a thriving junior section we see ourselves as a club with a very bright future.
